PHILIP HARLOS
Born: Sep 01, 1923
Date of Passing: Dec 02, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILIP HARLOS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Philip Harlos, at Poseidon Care Centre, on December 2, 2003, at the age of 80. Philip is survived by his wife Elsie; daughters, Gale, Debbie, Barbara, Dianne and son Richard (Kim) and granddaughter Emily. Philip was born September 1, 1923 and grew up in Grahamdale, MB. He had a special appreciation for outdoors and loved working with his hands. He earned his life as an owner operator, hauling gravel for Genstar in Winnipeg. His enjoyment was his hobby farm in Oak Point, MB where he spent his weekend hours puttering around and working the land. It was his place for peace on earth. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff on the Alzheimers ward. Their care and loving concern of my husband and our father, was appreciated. As he wished, cremation and a family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba. I watch the gorgeous sunset Through my cabin window-pane; This scenery I cant forget, Much less can I explain. Far removed from the world of dismay Im caressed by a gentle breeze; I let my cares just drift away Among the rustling leaves.
